5 Week Flagship Program

MYACT’s Summer Camp Program offers an unforgettable experience for young performers eager to explore the world of theater and the performing arts. Designed for children and teens of all skill levels, our camps combine professional instruction with fun, creativity, and teamwork. Participants will develop their talents in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft, culminating in an exciting live performance for family and friends.
With a focus on building confidence, fostering friendships, and sparking imagination, MYACT’s summer camps provide a nurturing environment where kids can shine both onstage and off. Whether they’re seasoned performers or first-time participants, campers will leave with lasting memories, new skills, and a love for the arts.

1 Week Intro to Theatre Camp
6/9-6/13 or 8/4-8/8
2 sessions to choose from (or do both)
Suitable campers who have completed kindergarten through 10 years old.
Camp days Monday- Friday 8:30-12:30
Especially designed for kids new to theatre or with limited theatre experience. Students will play theatre games, learn about stage etiquette, and learn music and dance in a fun low-pressure setting. Great for building confidence in our future MYACT Stars. This camp will culminate in a recital on Friday, at 6 pm.
Maximum enrollment 20 students- staff to camper ratio, no more than 5 students per staffer.

FWAP! Have you ever wanted to write your own musical? Well, now you can! FWAP is the summer camp for those interested in becoming Future Writers and Producers in the theatrical world. In this two-week-long camp, you will learn how to write stories, scripts, and music for your musical as well as how to direct, choreograph, and conduct while putting the show you wrote on stage!
Week one focuses on the fundamentals of storytelling, scene writing, and music composition in musicals. By the end of week one the major parts of the story, scenes, and music will be set. Week two will see the show that was written be put on stage, with every student engaging in the opportunities to, block scenes, choreograph dance numbers, conduct music, program lights, create costumes, and paint. Each student will not only be a writer, but director, producer, designer, and performer. By the end of week two, the show will hit the stage for a one-weekend performance.
